To Register for all courses BCCSA requires each student to create an online account and register directly through BCCSA. Call our office for an email link to the date you choose.
Registration is a 2 step process. 1. Set up your profile and verify your account. 2. Register for the course date.
Traffic Control Person Training is a minimum two-day, competency-based course, required to cover the basic theory and practical skills required to become a qualified traffic control person. Completion of this course will satisfy the requirement of the Occupation Health & Safety Regulation. Maximum class size is 14.
BCCSA Course Requirements: Participants must be physically able to do the work and need a minimum of grade 10 reading and comprehension abilities with a solid grasp of the English Language. Participation in the course is imperative to learning. Active participation means arriving on time each day/each activity and being attentive with full involvement by each participant. To be successful participants are required to take part in the entire 16 hours of instruction and will be evaluated on knowledge and practical ability.
Participants are required by WORKSAFE BC to wear CSA approved construction safety boots to protect the toe, sole and ankle (Construction Boot minimum 6” height – not a shoe or hiking boot) and dress appropriately (warm & dry) for working outdoors on day 2; Personal Protective Equipment; vest, wrist/ankle bands, hardhat are provided for use and returned on Day 2.
Cancellation Policy; Cancellation need to be received in our office 5 calendar days prior to the start date of the course; no refunds are provided after this date. Pre-registration ensures a minimum enrollment is met to determine if the course will proceed and allows our staff time to prepare materials. When a course fails to reach this minimum we reluctantly must cancel it. Please notify our office of any changes at 250-383-6041 you can leave a message. Roadmasters Safety Group Inc. reserves the right to modify or cancel any program,course, or objective without notice or prejudice. This would only take place in an emergency.
