This course is made up of 16 hours of theory in a classroom setting, learning the basic principals in the operation of air brakes. Followed with a 4 hour practical hands-on training of an air-equipped vehicle to prepare you for the provincial written exam.

Air Brakes Refresher
This course is approximately 5 hours. Providing the experienced driver with an update of provincial and federal laws at the same time as
refreshing skills and knowledge.
Professional Driver Improvement Course
This program will enhance the techniques of defensive driving and promote a positive attitude towards the task of driving as a professional. It will enable the professional to better avoid the problems other road users create and allow compensation for errors of others. The ultimate result is increased awareness, pride in their performance as an operator and an increase in their sense of responsibility. This 6 hour minimum program can be offered in 1, 2 or 3 sessions in an interactive classroom setting.
Transportation of Dangerous Goods
The certified program meets Transport Canada training guidelines. Designed for shipper/receivers, dispatchers, supervisors and managers who need a more in -depth understanding of the regulations. The course will cover the TDG Act & Regulations, legal responsibilities, labeling, documentation and incident reporting.
Forklift (Lift Truck) Safety Training
This certification course meets with WorkSafeBC and Canada Labor Code regulations. The focus is on the prevention of accidents & injuries that may be caused by the improper and unsafe use of forklifts. This course will focus on operating instruction, similarities to and differences from automobiles; controls and instruments, steering, maneuvering, visibility, fork and attachment adaptation, operation limitations, vehicle capacity, inspection and maintenance. Emphasis will be placed on total concentration and safe operation. This program is offered in a one-day session in an interactive classroom setting.
Equipment Safety Training
Skid Steer Loaders - Backhoes - Mini Excavators - Bucket Trucks - Boom Trucks Etc. Certification courses to meet with WorkSafeBC and Canada Labor Code regulations. Focusing on operating instructions, controls and instruments, steering, maneuvering, visibility, attachment adaptation, operation limitations, vehicle capacity, inspection and maintenance. Emphasis will be placed on total concentration and safe operation.
Hazard Recognition Training (HRT)
This course takes a hands-on approach to traffic safety by improving the driver's vehicle control skills as well as his/her understanding of the traffic environment. This 4 - hour course starts with short classroom discussions then moves to in-vehicle operation. Instead of reacting to events after they are beyond the driver's control, HRT gives drivers a positive game plan to minimize the chance of being trapped in hazardous situations. Maximum of 4 students per training vehicle. You can use your vehicle for the best results. This course will cover: Vehicle setup for maximum vision, injury protection & control; traction management & vehicle control; B.A.S.I.C. skills enhancement (Braking, Accelerating, Steering, In Control); Space, Time, Vision application; scanning to identify warning of potential conflict and strategies for dealing with potentially hazardous situations. Take it one step further and include an AUTO SMART component linking safety with fuel efficient driving.
